continued from married for christmas (part 1)
when we left our gorgeous young couple, our bride was just walking down the aisle.

the moment came to say “i do” and they were married.

it only took her about half an hour to find the groomsmen.

but everyone knows that tom makes her the happiest.

we stole one last bridal party picture in harm’s way.

our couple arrived safely to see a beautiful cake at the reception.

but they were too busy to eat… at least in this picture.

the father/daughter dance was not to “butterfly kisses.” they elected a more celebratory upbeat tune.

later everyone joined in the fun.

as the day of fun waned, we snapped a few more of the lucky couple.

we hope your first month has been as blissful as your first day.
congratulations, and thanks for having us take your pictures!

some of you have heard that we’ve added a new package–the everything!
we created it for the bride who wants to make things easy on herself so she can enjoy being engaged.
with the everything, you’ll be able to cross many, many things off your checklist (such as save the dates, the guest book, thank you’s, and much more!).
contact us at info@ex-ps.com if you’d like details!

we are so excited to be doing lisa and josh’s wedding photos. they are very in love and comfortable in front of the camera.
for their shoot, we ran around downtown peoria to try out some new indoor locations since the wind chill was below zero.

sometimes people don’t know which camera to look at. here, it was a good thing.

we managed a few outdoor shots. you can’t even tell they’re cold.

not to get too sappy on everyone, but i thought this quote was appropriate:
For you see, each day I love you more
Today more than yesterday and less than tomorrow.

congratulations on your engagement, and good luck as you prepare for your wedding in april and your life together.

in 2004 a group of students from peoria went to france. tyler and i were on the team, and so was karen.

we had a great time, but didn’t see her after high school until, by chance, last summer. we were shooting a wedding, and she had made the cake! we exchanged business cards, and soon tyler received a phone call that she was engaged and wanted us to do her pictures.
so, on a cold day in december, we ran around peoria for their engagement shoot.
karen and dustin were fun to be around and have a close connection. it comes through in their pictures.
what a blue-eyed couple!

relaxed.

and in love.

congratulations, karen and dustin! we’re excited for june.

another exposure weddings story began on december 22.
before the groom awoke, the bride approved her hair.

and makeup.

and dress.

and necklace.

the flower girl’s shoes were readied as well.

the guys showed up early enough to get a couple hands of cards in.

and then got pinned to boutonnières of fresh flowers.

a happy bride waited for her groom as her preparation was complete

and he waited for her with the rings.

and the sanctuary waited for both of them.

then they saw each other.

stay tuned for part 2.
