irish traditions: karen + dustin

tyler July 1st, 2008

karen and dustin made it to their big day.

the sun shown brightly.

“you may now kiss your bride.” dustin did.

i think everyone was still laughing from the kiss as they exit.

dustin’s four sisters make for a fun and full bridal party.

i think our ring bearer may have gone crazy from cooties after being so close to the kiss.

karen bakes wedding cakes. she decided to create a 3 layered masterpiece for her own wedding. on the middle layer (picture at the top), you can see the claddagh - an irish symbol with two hands, a heart, and a crown symbolizing friendship, love, and loyalty.

the top was adorned with two green-wearing bears. rumor has it that karen owns over 80 teddy bears.

a rose petal send-off to an after party at dustin’s house.

there was a lot of dancing there, but no one could match the energy of dustin’s grandfather. no lady could rest when he was on the floor.

karen and dustin slipped into some more comfortable clothes and made themselves… comfortable.

a perfect end to a perfect day.
